North Carolina – Part 1

I guess you could say that I didn’t exactly come to North Carolina on my terms.  I didn’t know what to expect here and I wasn’t sure I’d even like it here.  I have always been used to big cities and city life, so I was a little confused when I arrived to Durham.  I didn’t see people walking on the streets, to catch a bus or window shopping.  Most of the stores are in malls.  I wondered how people met… and just mostly wondered where everyone was hiding.

With free time on my hands at random parts of the day, I decided to just go out and discover my surroundings.  That was the start of making photography a bigger part of my life.  With maps in hand, I just drove around… stopping my car when I saw something interesting.  I took a lot of photos.
